This era marks a drastic change from traditional, manual farming methods to a landscape dominated by technology-driven approaches. The essence of Agriculture 4.0 lies in its use of advanced technologies such as robots, temperature and moisture sensors, aerial images, and GPS technology. These innovations enable farms to operate with greater profitability, efficiency, and environmental friendliness, defining a new age of precision agriculture and robotic systems​​.

Leading the charge in this revolution is artificial intelligence (AI). It has been used to greatly increase agricultural processes’ efficiency.
